The Georgia State Election Board is pleased to welcome Member Carolyn Roddy, who was officially sworn into office on June 23, 2026, by Governor Brian Kemp. Member Roddy was nominated by the Georgia Republican Party to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Dr. Janice Johnston.

As a member of the State Election Board, she will work alongside her fellow Board members to fulfill the Board’s responsibilities under Georgia law and serve the citizens of Georgia with fairness, professionalism, and accountability.
